Cinema-TV Department

The Department of Cinema and Television, which began its active education in the 2003–2004 academic year, admits students through the national centralized examination conducted by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). The department aims to educate cinema professionals with strong academic foundations who meet the growing needs of the Turkish film industry. It seeks to train well-equipped individuals in the fields of cinema and television who are sensitive to fundamental artistic and professional principles, meticulous in their work, and open to continuous self-improvement. The program prepares students to become researchers, screenwriters, cinematographers, and directors. Graduates of the department have the opportunity to work in various fields of film production and television broadcasting.
