Sculpture Department

The Sculpture Department, which started active education in the 1999-2000 academic year, aims to educate creative individuals who are equipped in their field, have a certain level of knowledge, are self-confident, and catch up with their age. In the first years of the four-year education process, students of the Sculpture Department observe and analyze the environment and nature they live in. In the workshops of the department, they study figure parts such as head, hand, foot, and torso with clay (clay). After working with live models, they experiment with new techniques and materials in the stone, wood and metal workshops and learn original shaping methods. The four-year education is completed with a diploma and project work. Graduates of the department can work as freelance artists, sculptors, expert technical staff, and art consultants in private and public institutions and organizations working in cultural fields.
