Graphics Department

The Department of Graphics started teaching in the 1999-2000 academic year. The department aims to train graphic designers who are creative, self-renewing, culturally oriented, and have a strong command of the current design language. In the first year of the four-year program, there are basic art education, applied courses such as drawing, and typography, and auxiliary culture and art courses. Education is carried out with technological hardware and software equipment. Advanced computer equipment (Mac, Printer, Plotter, etc.) is used in technical workshops. The department takes care to carry out its studies in cooperation with various institutions and organizations, taking into account the socio-cultural structure of Antalya. Graduates of the department can work as graphic designers, art directors, or creative directors in promotion and advertising agencies, press, and broadcast media. They can also work in the electronic and digital media, advertising, and packaging industries.
