Textile and Fashion Design Department

The Department of Textile and Fashion Design, which began admitting students in the 2017–2018 academic year, aims to educate creative and productive designers who meet the needs of the fashion and textile industries as well as the broader design world. Throughout the four-year undergraduate program, students are provided with aesthetic knowledge, technical skills, and professional competencies in the fields of weaving design, print design, and fashion design, enabling them to develop as innovative and skilled designers. The shared objective of these specialization areas is to transform design and creativity into a means of expression, to generate original forms through this process, and to integrate art with industry.
