Cinema-TV Department

The Department of Cinema-TV started active education in the 2003-2004 academic year. Students are admitted to the department through the central exam organized by the Student Selection and Placement Center. The Department of Cinema-TV aims to train cinema specialists who have the academic knowledge that Turkey needs in the field of cinema art. The department aims to train researchers, writers, cinematographers, and directors who are well-equipped in the field of cinema and television, sensitive in terms of basic artistic and professional principles, meticulous in their work, and open to self-renewal. Graduates of the department have the opportunity to work in different fields of film production and television broadcasting.
